AI Beacon Refund Policy

Because AI Beacon is a managed provisioning service delivering a digital infrastructure product, refunds are limited to specific technical failure scenarios as described below.

1. Technical guarantee

Eligibility: If AI Beacon cannot be successfully provisioned due to a verified, irresolvable technical conflict with the hosting environment — specifically, an inability to generate functional /md/ or llms.txt endpoints — a full refund will be issued provided the request is made within seven (7) days of the provisioning date.

Requirement: To qualify, the Licensee must allow AI Beacon one documented attempt to resolve the conflict. The guarantee applies only to conflicts originating from the hosting environment itself, not from pre-existing site configuration issues, third-party plugin conflicts, or conditions that fall under the remediation billing scope defined in Section 3 of the Terms of Service.

Remediation work: If remediation work was performed and billed prior to a refund request, those charges are not refundable. The refund applies to the license fee only.

2. Non-refundable scenarios

Change of mind or deciding the service is no longer needed after a license key has been issued.

Absence of ranking changes or inclusion in third-party AI datasets. AI Beacon does not control external crawl cycles or third-party index decisions.

Domain errors after provisioning has commenced. Licenses are locked to the domain submitted at the time of the license request. If an incorrect domain is submitted and provisioning has started, the original license is non-refundable. A new license request is required for the correct domain at the standard rate.

Failure to provide access within the 72-hour provisioning window resulting in a stale request. License fees are not refunded on the basis of scheduling delays caused by the Licensee.

Issues arising from hosting environment modifications made by the Licensee after successful provisioning.

3. Effects of a refund

Upon issuance of a refund, the associated license key is immediately deactivated and blacklisted. The AI Beacon plugin will cease to serve dynamic content on the target domain and the /md/ endpoint will return a 404 error. Refunded licenses are not eligible for reactivation.

4. Renewals

Annual renewal fees are non-refundable once the renewal invoice has been paid and the license term extended. If you do not wish to renew, no action is required — licenses are not automatically billed and will expire at the end of the current term.

5. How to request a refund

Email billing@aibeacon.app with your license key and a description of the technical issue. Valid requests are reviewed and processed within two (2) business days. AI Beacon reserves the right to request additional documentation to verify eligibility.
